As normal GTP you willfully misinterpret what is said. Where did I say Saturday was an "embarrassment" or we were "shite"? Was making the point that everyone - including, judging by some of your other posts, you - seems to accept that if we are to really challenge this season we need a top drawer striker, not yet another so so one. I know you only have one record and that's broken - but any chance you could play it in response to someone else's posts? Many thanks.

wires are crossed here. deffo need a striker mate, and a top drawer one, no varney or simpson nearly men.
but the sponge of the cake is looking so good, ingredients wise and all finished and set, the striker is the icing to make the sponge base look amazing for everyone to see.

know where you are coming from GTP, am v pleased with the rest of the team (think its a good unit apart maybe from lacking a right winger) but not having a single decent striker is a bit more than lacking icing imho. Don't mind some so so striker as well if it makes Warnock happy but as others have said it is that possible decent striker that will determine the success or otherwise of our season.

i think we could get away without a right winger if we got a striker of the calibre of chopra mate.
seeing as taarabt plays like a left and right winger as well as a striker.
as long as he passes like he was doing the other day, a good striker like chopra will score bucket loads, especially with faurlin, mackie and buz passing to him as well, he would be in his element, any good striker would love that four alongside him.
