Yeah, but we're not talking about Pilkington. We never mentioned Eastwood, and we still aren't. We did however talk Graham up before he scored a brace on Friday. These are facts mate.

He's a good player, and even if he hadn't scored on Friday, this would still be the case.

You cannot say there was a mass consensus that we sign this lad during the summer, if there was I missed it.

I can't say I know much about him apart from his record, but that's not the point I'm making. I'm sure the great and good on this site have seen him play many times, rather than looking at stats, and have had many drinks discussing his talents!!

The point I'm making is that last season there were calls for many players, Simon Cox and Ched Evans to name two, and there were calls to sign either because they were the next best thing. Both had average seasons last year, but are now wiser for the experience, but they are no longer the 'hot shots' and are now out of favour with the masses. Perhaps they are no longer good players?

I would prefer EB Blake, Simon Cox or Ched Evans over Graham

I admit I don't know much about Graham, but I'n sure his name will get mentioned and soon forgotten if he hits a bad patch

agree on that one, but most strikers get forgotten when they don't sign for QPR or move elsewhere, not just because they have a bad patch.

fact is that potential signings come and go and DG is currently a potential which (prior to Friday) most on here were keen on.

Having said that I think we would all prefer Roberts and Chopra but are not sure if these will come to anything

not just our supporters mate, most fans like to dream about who they want to sign, pre-season etc always becomes silly season when players are touted as signing or possible targets, thats what makes it different to other sports.
