      How uncomfortable does he look...!

Still would score lots of goals for us.

Former Premier League footballer Marlon King says he will "fight tooth and nail" to overturn his conviction for sexual assault.

I can honestly see him coming myself. But he is gonna have to put in a hell of a shift each game to win many fans over.Fans have very short memorys and a few goals would soon get fans behind him.

I am all for giving him a chance to prove himself.

Personally, I don't believe he would have been at Harlington and it not got picked up by the papers. ****-don't want him anywhere near my club.

Our club doesnt need more bad press. Weve had enuff, sorry. Clubs are rolemodels for young players AND young supporters.

From now on we have to be carefull regarding our reputation.

We have just ended the playboy erea. Lets not start a "new" one

Maybe people would think differently if it was their daughter he had assulted ?

A perfectly reasonable statement and real life does actually occur outside of football(yes really!!) so there is a correlation between a convicted criminal with numerous convictions and whether people don't want someone of his ilk disgracing the hallowed hoops.............

I don't think the Mittals would want someone like that here, to be honest.

Also, why do anything to disrupt what seems to be a happy squad at the moment?

The Mittals would probably much rather open the cheque book for Chopra, than sign King on a free.

                            :leaking:
                            Be nice to Minty

Despite the unsavoury nature of what King did, why do people believe he would "score money for fun" with us. He's been in prison, not training camp. Chances are he is well out of shape and hasn't kicked a ball in ages. I'd rather persevere with Vine than him.
