    I agree Stan.

But this depends as to how greedy or how much the players want. e.g I feel they will try and negoitate a fee to terminate with certain players. Say thay have a contract worth £1.4m left to run, they offer him say £700k to terminate. The player will then consider his options can he make more than £700k on another contract if the answer yes, he will accept, if the answers no then the chances are he wont.

If they dont come to an agreement then this costs still needs to be addressed and stay within the current budget.

I think their desire to play over desire for cash comes into play here.If they really wanna play they should get the club to find them a new club then accept a severance pay.If they are only after cash then they will stay, and barring a miracle,we are stuck with them.

i would rather rich owners in then none even if they don't heavily invest.. without them we would be in trouble with the likes of pompey and chester city

I agree with both Stan and W10

Players who want to play will find away to move on, either vis loans or agreeing a deal, but looking at some of the action of our players i am not sure they feel the same way.

As W10 is saying I also would much rather have owners who bring me Adel, Mackie, Buzz but do not over commit to make us go bust. I feel and this is my own opinon that these owners will invest when and where they think its right.

Not just when the fans feel they should (like Jim Greogory)

If we can keep these owners and not abuse them when things dont go right or we dont agree then i am confident.

I agree with all of the above points but I sincerely hope when we get to the premiership we do try and consolidate and don't end up getting relegated the same season. In an ideal world I would like to see us follow the path of Fulham but this would require reasonable amounts of money being spent and I'm not sure if I have seen enough from our owners so far to see this as a reality.

the future is all about keeping our club running into the next few years without doing a palace/cardiff etc....and to think they never even made it up!!!!!!!!pompey had a go as did others but chasing the dream recklessly will be a huge mistake. our main problem is the size of our support-leeds can muster 40k at home in the top flight and look where that led them.....the owners have done nw well in the transfer market with another signing to come imo.......

We need to have the ability to be able to expand/build a stadium fit for the prem, if thats the owners ambition to get there.

We just cannot grow at LR as it stands.

I think your probably right. If they did build a new stadium I would hope they would build it close to the pitch like Loftus Road as thats does make all the difference to the atmosphere

Stadiums like the Ricoch are terrible for atmosphere but thats another debate.......

i was thinking the same thing.. the club won't make massive profits from loftus road due to the capacity although would we lose more money moving to a 30k stadium if less than half of it will be used going by recent figures

The question I would like to ask here is do the fans realy want to move as i am not sure.

Previous owners have talked about moving to a bigger stadium moving to land outside of Northolt and Uxbridge and this has been meet with anger, from supporters. As some dont want to move at at all or they only want to move within a certain raduis. The problem is Loftus Road is too small, and the land around this area is prim real estate, and will cost a fortune.

Are we willing to move and if we are how far ! and are we willing to do it as a joint partnership with a hotel, casino or shopping mall to make it a secure business plan?

I for one love Loftus Road and to be honest not sure if i would like to move to a big fancy stadium, 1 mile from the pitch with no atmosphere.

                              Tough one this call

I totally agree with every word there. I would hate a large 'bowl' which is never full
