Was having a discussion with a few people today regarding our owners and the long term plans for the future. Now I know our short term aim is to get promotion but when/if we get there do we expect to stay there like for example Fulham? Do we think the owners will invest some serious money to keep us up or do you think they will be happy for us to be a yo-yo club like for example Wolves?

Amit has always said the club needs to stand on its own two feet regarding finances.
The way i see it, they will be spend an agreed amount in the championship to try and get promoted, with out over commiting the club on the playing side.
They will spend on the academy / training but wont spend the so called "big big money" until promotion is reached, as thats when we get the Premiership money of £90 million. When they get that they will invest to stay up e.g they wont spend silly money that they dont have. One for all.... and all for one

I believe they will spend £20m + if we get promoted to stay up.
The reason for this:- With the paracute payments you can expect in circula of £90M now, giving them time to control / reduce the costs if it all goes weeble wobble.
- Getting promotion will help promote QPR into the Indian / far east market place promoting their brand and therefore getting more revenue. Staying there will only help this cause
- They wont like to fail and with Warnock he will make it clear what he needs after his experiance with Sheffield Utd
But we wont spend that amount in one year on players in the championship, as there is no granantee that your win promotion. Its also a false econemy spending this type of money before you get there as you need to respend big time again when promoted therefore to me this limits the return on investment.
If i sound like i am treating it as a business thats because i am, as these people are buisness men and to me thats how they see itOne for all.... and all for one

with the side we have already and this great experinced manager, we need two more players (chopra please) and we will be unbelievably good, loved the way we were yesterday, first time in a first match in donkeys ive thought 'oh yes, this is promising'.

Its not just the 5 million in transfers, but the XX in wages you have to consider, as these will be for around 3 years. You also can not grantee me that we would get promoted, you can only say our chances will improve as you dont know if they will get injuired or we will have other injuires to key personnel.
From a business perspective "yes" its worth investing but there needs to be a limit and not at all costs. I am not saying they wont spend the money as i dont know (i am not in the know, just a fan). But what i am saying is that they would have worked out how much they need to do to get a decent return on investment. These people are not blindless fans like me and you, there buisness men like Jim Greorgy. If it has a return then they will do itOne for all.... and all for one
