  • Chopra and Roberts

According to my mate, we are in talks with both. Both want £30k, and we've offered Roberts £20k. Not sure where that leaves things as he had no more info, but I guess this is good news as at least we're attempting.
    Your mum would love me...

Great news if we are seriously looking to get these type of strikers.
I blew a lot on vodka and tonic, gambling and fags. Looking back, I think I overdid it on the tonic. - The one and only Stanley Bowles

A few seasons ago we wouldn't pay more the £2k, we do have tight owners don't we?

give chopra 30 and roberts 20.
a little bit of me only wants chopra tho, cos this sounds so so so strange to write this, but we have got a great side and chopra would be a straight swap for watford boy, and i wouldnt want to drop two of that team today when buzz is fit and if roberts came as well.

I'd go all in for Chopra, he is quality. Would really be a statement of intent.

Can't get so excited about Roberts, dunno why.

Well that kind of goes hand in hand. To sell season tickets you need to show ambition. Buy these two and maybe we go up, selling 14k ST next year?

.... lady luck was on our side yesterday, I felt Barnsley didnt do much wrong in the first half, in fact it was a very oridinary display from both sides for the first 45mins apart from the 'Adel show' who was by far the best player on the park.
In respect to getting Chopra to sign for QPR .... It was the biggest rumour many Rangers fans were talking about yesterday! I don't want to put a dampner on this, as I'd also love to see the lad in a QPR shirt ..... but .... let me take you back to an incident from last season at the Cardiff City v Crystal Palace game, where by an alleged racist comment was made to Micheal Chopra at the end of that game ..... by an alledged player who happened to be Shaun Derry .... as I've said, it is alleged .... so lets hope for the sake of this potential acquisition there's no foundation to that allegation.

If Shaun Derry has to walk the plank to sign Michael Chopra then id be v happy to say "thankyou Shaun, it was short but sweet. Now here's your coat..."

Eh? Derry was excellent. Think player of his ilk is vital to us. No one like him left in squad either

I may be wrong but aren't we only allowed to have a certain percentage as season tickets,in our first season back after promotion it was capped at 10500 I believe.
