  • Don't get shirty with me, Warnock warns Taarabt

NEIL WARNOCK has told his star signing that he won't tolerate any petulance if he gets substituted or dropped – but that also has it in him to play for Real Madrid or Barcelona.

Warnock is a very good speaker to the media, he makes me very confident and proud to have him as our manager!

Warnock is very much the best manager Adel could be playing for
        Under Les Ferdinand:
Luke Freeman, top assists in the league: 4million
Alex Smithies, great goalie for this club: 3,5million
Charlie Austin, 19 Premier League goals: 4million
Jack Robinson: Contract ran out, left for free
        And many more mistakes

LES FERDINAND, IT'S TIME TO GO

I agree NW is just the sort of manager to keep Tarbs on the straight and narrow.
I blew a lot on vodka and tonic, gambling and fags. Looking back, I think I overdid it on the tonic. - The one and only Stanley Bowles

You've taken the comment out of context. Listen to it in full: http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/foot...pr/8895173.stm
He was having a laugh about it with the reporter. Adel even said "OK gaffer, I love you." NW is just the man to tame him.

Brilliant today but in danger of creating a major target man for opposing fans and alienating the rest of the team and for ****s sake lets get a better chant than 'He is just too good for you!'

Thanx for the link Stanley. Great interview. Didn't hear the 'Gaffer I love you' though?

Sorry Ric, its actually on the QPR Player press conference. If you dont have it, here's the trascript: http://www.uxbridgegazette.co.uk/wes...4767-27019188/

Interesting observations from Mark Robins too:

"It was a kick up the backside and not what we expected. It's disappointing, because I think we're better than that.

"The second half was just a comedy of errors. There were basic defensive things, like tracking back, that we didn't do.

"QPR are a fancied team and in some ways this is a good game to get out of the way. But I think 4-0 is a harsh scoreline, because it wasn't that kind of game.

"Neil Warnock said to me after the game: `Don't be too hard on your lads, because Adel Taarabt was the difference. If I hadn't signed him, that wouldn't have happened.' We tried to contain Taarabt but he's very clever. It's hard to stop him unless you go man-to-man, and then that would give QPR more space, so it's difficult."
