I was at the Box Office on Thursday and was told that going by tickets sold and ST's they were expecting an attendance of around 13,000.
So does this mean that after the announcement that Taarabt has signed and matchday tickets sold that they only sold another 500 tickets.
I reckon there was around 15,500 - 16k.

Lower school was almost empty and upper school about half full.Then add the empty seats scattered around the stadium.

I always go by how many empty seats there are in Ellerslie as to the size of the gate, and there wernt that many empty.

Would say that the crowd was in the high 14s poss 14600 to 14800.

Dont know whats going on with the crowd numbers.

I am in X block Ellerslie and i must admit it looked pretty full around me.SAR had a fair few empty seats so i reckon it was about right IMO.

sat in A block, school end was only a quartre full and probably about 1000 spare in the other 3 stands

I thought there was more than the gate suggested. Apart from the School end having spaces there wasn't that much around the rest of the ground.

Oh and a fairly disgruntled Tykes fan left early but only after taking a lot of stick
