  • NW/BBC London/ Chopra...

NW was interviewd at 5.50 tonight and confessed that the R's rode their luck and the Tykes were a tad unlucky with their penalty refusal and the scoreline flattered us.He was told about the numerous texts and emails from fans saying that signing Chopra would be the icing on the top.He jokingly suggested that Chopra's Indian agent was behind all the emails. He wouldn't be drawn on whether we would sign him but reaffirmed that he wanted to get THREE more in soon as our squad is a little lightweight.

3 more, hopefully a centre back and 2 strikers.
I have no idea what to make of his answer about Chopra though at all.

Gut feeling he will sign though.
      Under Les Ferdinand:
Luke Freeman, top assists in the league: 4million
Alex Smithies, great goalie for this club: 3,5million
Charlie Austin, 19 Premier League goals: 4million
Jack Robinson: Contract ran out, left for free
      And many more mistakes

LES FERDINAND, IT'S TIME TO GO

does this make me a faggit, but i actually love warnock.
makes me feel so confient, and i really enjoy the way he uses the media for his clubs benefit and not just for self promotion as well.

Think we have not replaced Routs, need a good winger to get behind defences.
          They seek him here.................

I agree.Think the result did not reflect the game at all.Could have been much tighter if Barnsley had the luck on their side. The shots that hit the post and their turned down penalty appeal was the difference between us.

It was the turning point of the game, then when we scored the 2nd their heads dropped and the game was effectively over.

aint it great tho, the luck being with us for a change going into a new season.
cos we have got to be the most unlucky side on the planet, we never get the rub of the green usually.

                  Absolutely mate.

Just think that we should not get too carried away by the scorline as the performance over 90 minutes was not a 4-0 performance. As Neil says,we rode our luck and things went in our favour. On another day it could have been 4-3.

Mmm could have been 8-3, the amount of clear cut chances we missed (ahem HH) .

Even if the tykes had got one of their chances I still think we'd have won today. You make your own luck and it evens itself out throughout the course of the season.

Cedit where it is due, NW not getting carried away, that shows humility.
