I have never been a big HH fan, but to be fair, Heidar was one of our best players today! Yes, he did miss a couple of chances, but a strikers job is not only about scoring goals. What about all the other positive things he did? He was Very Good in the air. He held the ball up very well, and his constantly and very clever running creates big spaces for his team mates. He showed real class when he scored the first penalty. and If not for him, we would not have got the second penalty!
So to all you moaners: If you canīt see that, you now NOTHING about football !!

For those who say "he's simply not good enough" need to have a look round our squad, who else can play there agyemang? Vine? German? Pellicori? after watching agyemang last Friday night play that position it shows HH is the man for the job! Ok IF we sign another two strikers then that may well change but for now let's just support him
        Amen.

Amen II. At the position his playing, his the best we have. He creates chances for himself and others, support him and he will be even better.

HH had a good game, led the line well, held up play and won headers. Shouldve scored from open play, however he took his penalty well... Even if I did think he'd head it over!!!

A clinical finisher would love his position. Chops would bag 30 goals easy!!

Of his 2 missed chances, the header in the 1st half was not easy, there were 2 defenders between him & the goal which he had to steer it past. More unlucky than a bad miss IMO.
That said the 2nd was a sitter.

Overall he had a good game, involved in both pens.
If 2 others come in, He's a better squad player than Vine, Agyemang & Pellicori all of whom should be out the door before HH.
              Again only my opinion.

you gave them all a platform to slate him with this thread..

was an unlucky miss but it happens, we won, he played well and thats all the matters.
