  • Buzz for Fryatt

Now we have signed Tarrabt and Sousa says he would listen to offers for Fryatt, would you swap Buzz and Fryatt?

If this was the only way of us acquiring a goal scorer I would. It's unlikely NW will play Tarrabt and Buzz in the same side afterall.

Why would you? We are either about building a team for promotion or we are not. Pointless losing your best players unless it is for such silly money you can do amazing things with it. If that board is serious about promotion it needs to spend on a couple of decent strikers. I was hopeful they were prepared to until I read we were going to sign luke varney...

No. Buz is our best player.

And I don't see a problem with Buz and Tabs in the same team. Until a pen needs taking anyway.

Tabs will be the one getting bench time imo - with Clarke (his antithesis) being subbed for him to mix it up when needed.

Adel is currently a striker for us... since we dont really have an out and out forward to saturday ...

        Therefore I agree...

And besides, why sell your best player for Fryatt... avergae IMO

With a 4-2-3-1 formation we can use both Adel and Buz.

I agree but as I posted in another thread "as an example, when we play away at Sheffield Utd, Ipswich and Leicester in the coming weeks, will NW go with two flair players like Buzz and Adel or loose one of them and go with two defensive midfielders like Legsofwood and Derry. If he does, as Adel is NW's marque signing, Buzz will be the one to miss out"

I cant see a fully fit Buzz sitting on the bench and if he has to give way for Tarabbt, IMO he will be gone ASAP, to where he will be able to play.

PS: In all honesty, I'm surprised Holloway has not looked at him.

Im not a massive Buzz fan like some, but clearly he is one of our better attacking players so why swap him for another good attacking player? If we want promotion you dont swap good players for good players, you buy good players and keep your own good players.

him and faurlin will ruin any other midfield pairing. especially now they have derry to do their dirty work.
Soldier: "im on reconnaissance sir.. im looking for our camouflage expert.. have you seen him?"
                Lovejoy: "No?!"
Soldier: "GOD DAMNIT THAT GUYS GOOD!"

i think buzz was a little dissapointing last year, but when warnock came in, he started to show his class. I think hes a great player with a lot more to offer. Would like fryatt in addition though :D

Paulm - I take some comfort from the apparent conversion that Warnock has had to Buz over the summer. He was a lot more glowing in his comments about him than those he made about Adel even. I think (and it is only that, my opinion) Warnock would go with Buz over Adel and would use Adel sparingly rather than the other way round. So in your example Buz would be left on the pitch whilst Adel was the wild card swapped around when defences were on to him.

I also agree that Warnock and the Board would be unlikely to sell him as he is part of the progression. Plus I don't think he is currently worth a lot. Let's hope he doesn't score a hat trick against England next week and catch the eye of others with money!

Sousa would be more likely to want Ephraim in exchange -- I got the feeling that he was Sousa's kind of player.
Faurlin is my hero!!! Love him!!! #########

I'd rather use Ephraim in any swap deal. Leicester have Gallagher, DJ Campbell and that Old Bloke (whatsisname) but I still can't believe they would let Fryatt go.

Steve Howard Sirpie, pain in our ar.se everytime he plays against us.

If it was Hogan for Fryatt then I would be interested.

Yes I would deffo make that swap deal, we need a striker and have done since Paul Furlong, Fryatt would do the business IMO.
