is it really ambition to sign the player we have had on loan past couple of seasons but to still as yet ignore the fact we have very little quality otherwise in the side and in desperate need of a couple of quality strikers?
dont get me wrong im ecstatic Adel has signed and my excitement for Saturday has probably doubled because he'll be there but come on...this is just the beginning surely? loads of average players with about 3 or 4 good ones and still need to replace Simpson and Routledge with quality.

mackie will do better for us than routledge, so hes been replaced. and simpson was macaroni, our new striker will pi ss all over him from a great height.

There's an 80% chance I would say of me getting one now! Though I can't make Saturday's game so that's one missed already! A decent striker or two will no doubt make me finally get one!

i wasnt talking about position wise, i was talking about flair wise and goal making and taking wise.
and the new striker will be better than simpson or ill eat my hat and scarf.

WELLl-WELL-WELL a great coop from the club, i've admired Adel and slagged him off on this site for his attitude and petulance. but if his heart is there and this comes off it could be one of the greatest things that has happened to our club in years.

GTP mate. I'm not having a pop but in that case Routledge isn't replaced is he? We have a left winger but still no right one. This is logic gone mad. And whether there is a new striker at all is point (a) and whether he is better than Simpson is somewhere long after that to be judged. Can't even be point (b) yet. So not sure what that was all about????? But if I have strayed into some closed shop slanging match I wasn't aware of I apologise for seeming to take sides. I'm not. Just puzzled!

im not causing any beef mate, but warnocks building a team, mackie is good enough to play that breaking through and passing role that routledge did, it doesnt matter what side it is on.
and it looks like in the friendly clips ive seen he dont mind moving about all over.
so to me hes a replacement. tho as you and others say, simpson hasnt been replaced yet, but ill bet my life on it he will be.
this season we are going to be so much better, its a dead cert.
