  • McAnuff not coming

Getting Taarabt lessens the blow, but Jobi is staying at Reading,he was interviewed in yesterdays "evening echo" and he said he was staying at Reading and looking forward to the new season,so very unlikely to happen.

Don't desperately need him, especially if we are playing a 4 3 3 system.

I would say that a m/f with Buzz, Faurlin, Taarabt, Derry will not be the weakpoint of the team. Now we have Tarbs would rather see any remaining budget go on striker(s), so not that bothered if McAnuff doesn't come.

Good player but I think we'd have been paying over the odds a bit with the transfer fee likely to be close to 2 million.

Hopefully Hogan can continue to produce on his pre-season form.

Wasn't he an alternative to Ambrose or Adel?

He would actually especially thrive in playing wide right of the front three, with less defensive responsibility.
