A few questions:
1) will he be eligible to play on Saturday.
2) If Spurs paid a lot of money for him (£3.5/ £4.5m???) would this make Tabs the player to have commanded the largest transfer fee before playing in our beloved blue and white hoops? Or had somebody like Wilkins or Hateley been sold for more earlier in their careers? (Sir Les, Crouchy and others were obviously sold for a lot more after playing for us).
3) Noticeable Warno refers to him as "an attacker". Do you think Warno will take the view that as Tabs is unlikely to ever do much tracking back and tackling he may as well play him in a more advanced position? Rooney after all is Utd's main (sometimes sole) striker but he also roams around the place. I know a lot of fans are sceptical of whether he can play that role but I remember against Bristol City at the end of the season before last Adel stole in and scored a real centre forward's goal. In the absence of another really good striker I just wonder if this might be an option?
