In whatever formation I believe these two would be fantastic. They could both play as a lone man. They could both play in a 4-4-2 and they could both score a lot of goals.
Before anyone says that they couldn't play together I will point you in the direction of Ebanks-Blake and Iwelumo in Wolves Championship winning year 2 seasons ago. Both big men who held the ball up and allowed the likes of Jarvis and Kightly to play. Imagine those two with Mackie, Faurlin and Buzsaky (and of course Derry) behind them.

That Wolves team is a good example.And both were deemed surplus when Wolves got promoted.Think Ebanks-Blake is gettable.Forget who Iwelumo went to.
Rate Jarvis highly.Would take him over Taarabt anyday.
