Reality Check...

Understandably we all want to see QPR sign and finish of our team to push for promotion this year...

1. Adel Tarrabt
2. A 20 goal a season striker
3. Another striker who will score ten plus more goals at least

But, I think we all need to be brought back down to earth and think about mistakes made in the past and look at what went wrong.

After listening to NW on the radio last night, I feel very proud to have him as our manager and I am very excited about QPR's future and up and coming season..

He seems to be making the changes for the best and quite rightly lots needed changing..

1. Wages
2. Dead wood
3. Morale
4. Loan Signings
5. Team players

As much as I do think its crazy how certain deals have no been signed sealed and delivered, I think we just need to patient.

By the sounds of it NW is going to be using some money but is waiting on certain players and making sure he gets the right ones... He has brought in some fresh faces for certain areas that needed freshening up and wants to spend his cash on the final pieces.

Im pretty sure there are very few ITK people on here who actually know what is going on behind the scenes at QPR and we are all making our judgements. We keep hearing all these rumors and bit part facts coming from certain people on here and quite frankly 70% of it never happens.. so instead of getting carried away and unhappy lets just give it some time?

I for one would much rather see Chopra walk through the door than sign Mosses on a year loan.. if it means signing him a week later..

Adel will have signed and a striker of some sort will be in!

yep sounded like Warnock was working on a few deals so we got to give him till the end of the transfer window before we start criticizing him
still maybe he should have been working on them deals instead of furthering his media career?

Ye I mean of course... But at the end of the day, if a deal is sorted by that time of night then you start again tomorrow I guess..

I just think we have a very good squad with good morale and a superb manager...

and considering what he did with a poor team full of loan signings last season and kept us up makes me feel a lot more positive this season with his own squad.

Not sure how a team has got weaker? ...

We lost Adel and Simpson ...

We have gained a better keeper, natural right back and jamie mackie who seems to be quite a good player..

Adel and new striker would make us even better!

That was before Warnock come in ... and that was last season, therefore we have slightly strengthened.

its like saying we sold, Sir Les and we never strengthened from then?

Warnock took over without Wayne Routledge and without Blackstock and camp etc and managed to sort out our dismal season... and since then has strengthened the team

i was actually feeling a bit more positive when it seemed Taarabt and a striker were coming in
a credible few on here who i generally listen to and believe have started to give me a bit of hope...
dont worry m8 it will all come crashing down if the clowns mess up the Taarabt signing and fail to bring in a GOOD striker

add to that the excitement of the new season starting and i just havent been myself lately :drunk:

QPR4Life? Strengthend in what areas? Mahon is better than Derry imho but I will reserve judgement.

Tosic was much better than Clint Hill.

Decent Keeper but won't be a huge improvement on Cerny allbeit we have 2 quaility keepers.

I think you can include Routs because he played for us last season and Sir Les is retired. We never replaced him after selling for 2.5m.

Strikers well I will say Clarke is an improvement but then that isn't saying clarke is promotion quality just better than the turd we currently have. Buzz and Faurlin are still our best 2 players, so I don't see an improvement oh and we lost our top scorer in Simpson. Please tell me where I have gone wrong? thanks.

not comparing it to when Warnock took over....comparing to last season as it stands we are much weaker...no Routledge..no Simpson...no Taarabt

Sorry mate you are right but I am struggling to feel positive. Going on hol tomorrow for 10 days mate so I will hopefully come back to some new signings and the rest will do me good. Lets hope we pick up 3pts v barnsley and sorry mate didn't mean to depress you

haha no not at all, hasnt depressed me, cor since I have been QPR fan the best thing I've seen his coming runners up to Plymouth

I just think we have chance this year and eventually we will spend some cash on the right guys making it even better!
