Neil warnock said last night if he has to go over his budget to sign a player who will make the difference he will do. He thinks Taraabt is an outstanding talent he's gained 10k a week of his budget from selling Stewart. If he won't break wage cap, put in performance related bonus' in his contract. That way he has to perform to get what he wants and clubs a winner.

We don't know if the terms are wages, bonuses or a get out clause.
If it is wages, how much is he asking for? We don't know. How much do others earn? Again, we don't know.
If he is asking for £18K, then QPR should pay him that.
Afterall, we can all have some sort of educated guess on how much some other players are on. Vine £16K, Hall £15K, Helguson £15K & Agyemang £12K, Wasn't it reported that Kenny left Sheff U to double his £10K wages.
Kenny, could be a match saver if QPR's defensive work is not up to much, so perhaps might earn his money, but Taarabt, is a potential match winner and will be of more use than Hall, Vine, Helguson or Agyemang and probably of more value than almost any other QPR player. Along with Faurlin, Routledge and Simpson, He was one of QPR's few successes last season.
I can appreciate that he hasn't really had many offers from ither clubs, but there will be quite a few Championship clubs that have been alerted to his £600K fee and will be waiting in the wings to ambush this deal, so QPR must do what they can to make it go through today.
Also, QPR thought his fee would be more than £2M, so they are saving a hiuge amount of money to let a few thousand get in the way of this deal. It is only a 2 year deal, so it isn't going to cripple the club, especially with a Billionaire owner.Last edited by stanistheman; 04-08-2010, 02:09 PM.
