I don't like the man's demeanour off the pitch from what I have seen and certainly can't stand him on as he is a p.iss poor footballer and the worst centre half we have got. I also begrudge the wages that are paid to him, the length off the contract handed to him and the fact he was more than willing to jump ship to Newcastle had he been given the chance.

In fact there is very little I like about Fitz Hall, no one situation annoyed more when he missed a penalty against Barnsley at the start of the season under Dowie at 2-0 so he can get a hat trick. Next thing we 2-1 up and on the back foot with Fitz Hall all over shop, shocking player IMO.

I find it amusing that you are allowed an opinion on a player that other people may or may not like and you feel it is acceptable for you to launch a "venomous tirade" at Fitz Hall, but no one is allowed an opinion about a player you have a 'soft spot' for.

          You have made my day.

Poor decision. I agree with the sentiments of the people who are against it. He comes across as a player who doesn't particularly care about the club and seemed happy to take his paycheck while putting in lazy and abject performances for the last two years. The worst part is he seems dead cert to be a starter now (when he's not crocked) ahead of either Gorkks and Connelly who I think should be our centre back partnership.

Should have stayed with Rowlands or gone to Derry. I'll be happily proven wrong if he starts putting in some great performances and leading by example but I don't see how the added expectation will help a supposed experienced player who still seems to muck up a lot the basics on a regular basis and seems to lack concentration at the best of times.

I'm hoping he picks up a slight knock to keep him out the team to let someone else take up the armband.
I see Rowly is still Club Captain, not quite sure what that means though as surely Club Captain rules over 'Skipper' - Hall's new title.

Make no mistake this is a venomous tirade, I don't like Fitz Hall and I don't want him at my club. Don't think I didn't realise you were trying to set me up , I'm not daft.

Difference is Paul about 95% share the same opinion about Taarabt and Hall and they are not misguided either.

Anyway nice to see you have been a bit quiet the past couple of days, hopefully you'll be rolling out the old red carpet for 'Two Ball' once he signs......he's a left footed player you know

Sure you did, you would have mentioned it if you had but lets not dwell on it. When Tarabbt does arrive at QPR FC, I will support him like I do every other player, I may not be his biggest fan (as you're not Fitz Hall's) but I do not care who plays for QPR FC, as long as they give 100%.

im gobsmacked. he is not a leader. i fully expected derry to be made captain as he is a leader that we missed.

hall has said himself "im not a shouter". unbelievable decision by warnock. i hate the man, his attitude stinks.

i remember a few years back when i was a bit younger i asked for a autograph and he just plainly ignored me. i made sure he heard, and he walked straight past.

and this is the role model warnock wants as our captain? ridiculous.

Hall also claims that he is not a shouter, but he leads by example. What example would that be then?

                            Heading the ball to opponents?
Opting to make the shortest striker leaving shorter defenders to mark the tallest one?
Making a mess of things and conceding needless freekicks and penalties?
Or snubbing fans at Club parties and walking out of them early?

At least Rowlands is still Club Captain and may return to the side and Hall is likely to injure his groin, hamstring, back, knee or ankle after a couple of games.

Decent appointment and a good centre half.

Newcastle signed him and they wern't rushing for any of our other players.

I don't care that he is not fan friendly and good at signing autographs, so I expect him to deliver on the pitch. Much better than Damion Stewart.
I played sunday league football today.

Clearly I was the best player on the pitch.

I scored 5 and made 7 last ditch tackles.

We lost 5-0 but the rest of my team were sh it!
