    No rush?

Leon Clarke it is then. I'm hoping we get at least one in before Barnsley. 3 points in your 1st game is very important.
    Your mum would love me...

I would agree with you Benny and we had all summer to bring him in.

No rush? true I mean we have been waiting 3 months so whats another few weeks.

Our strike force will be shocking and definately the worst strike force in the championships opening fixture.

I actually think Helguson is shocking but I am struggling to think of someone else?
I played sunday league football today.

Clearly I was the best player on the pitch.

I scored 5 and made 7 last ditch tackles.

We lost 5-0 but the rest of my team were sh it!

We will have to wait until the end of the window. Prem clubs have to name there 25 man squad on the 30th (i think) so whoever isn't wanted will be allowed to leave then

So if we signed a striker say thursday or friday, you would start him on Saturday?

Newcastle, WBA and Blackpool all failed to win their opening match last season (albeit WBA and Newcastle played each other) so as Pete says it is no rush. Wolves failed to win their opening match the year before that and Burnley didn't win until game 5 (they lost 4-1 on the opening day).

It's more important that we get our man on our terms then not to do the deal because we've tried to rush it through. Yes we've had 3 months to do deals but none of us know the circumstances behind such a deal. Yesterday it was suggested that Bednar wasn't interested in signing for us a few months ago but because nobody else has gone in for him he may now be interested. If this is the case then maybe this is why we haven't been able to do a deal until now. If it's Walters then maybe we've been waiting on Ipswich's transfer dealings. It doesn't always have to be QPR's fault for things taking so long.
