Great news, I just dont want to get too excited yet as Ambrose was "definitely" signing for us and it didnt happen, I know that's a different situation, but I'm going to wait till its official
he's a young lad (19 or 20) with bags of skill, who spurs were willing to pay £3m for. He does have problems and is far from finished article which is what put clubs off in my opinion. I've got faith in warnock to bring the best out of him and we've seen what he's like at his best.
I think everyone's getting a little premature here, afterall have we not learnt our lesson in the past.
Just because we've agreed a fee with Spurs is irrelevant.
More concerning is that fact that any other club that reads that now knows Spurs are prepared to accept a paltry amount compared to their previous asking price. There's nothing to stop other clubs coming in with an equal bid, which would also be agreed.
Ultimately it would then be down to wages and what's in it for the player regarding personal terms. Yes, you would assume we could offer more than others to get him, but you never know....let's just wait and see.
