would you rather we offered £500k then? Sometimes you can get a bargain, and Warnock obviously saw something on Friday night (I assume he was playing for Plymouth).

Perhaps he could be an unpolished gem and Warnock is being shrewd, or possibly a turd, who, however much you polish him will always be a turd. Who knows? I would imagine it won't be a 4 year, £15k a week contract on offer, so why not?
