Gut feeling Yes, but still not done and dusted. Still one or two bits of ironing.
Marlon King is definitely NOT a target. Hopes for a striker too, though it won't be SimpsonALL BEST BANTER AND ALL THE LATEST FROM QPR.

Going cheap: Spurs misfit Adel Taarabt should complete his permanent move to Queens Park Rangers in time to play against Barnsley at the weekendCut-price Adel Taarabt happy to see the back of Spurs

Tottenham will cut their losses on midfield flop Adel Taarabt after agreeing a £1million deal with Queens Park Rangers.
The Morocco international impressed on loan at Loftus Road last season and is discussing personal terms to make a permanent switch to the Championship side.
The deal is thought to be worth an initial £600,000 but could rise to £1m based on performance criteria. Whatever the final figure, the transfer represents a significant loss for Spurs on a player they had high hopes for.
Taarabt was signed from RC Lens in 2007 for £3m, but he struggled to make an impact under successive managers Martin Jol, Juande Ramos and Harry Redknapp and made a total of just nine Premier League appearances.
Spurs chairman Daniel Levy had originally wanted as much as £4m for the talented 21-year-old, who was once dubbed 'the new Zinedine Zidane', but Redknapp had no plans for the enigmatic character and the club have had to lower their valuation in order to get the player off their books.
Taarabt was desperate to get away from Tottenham and revealed to Standard Sport as long ago as March his regret over choosing to move to White Hart Lane instead of north London rivals Arsenal.
The move will be formally completed this week and Taarabt should be available to face Barnsley when Rangers kick off their new the Championship season on Saturday.
QPR boss Neil Warnock made Taarabt one of his main targets at the start of the summer but his chances looked slim when the playmaker claimed "top clubs" from Spain were chasing his signature.
But no interest from overseas ever materialised and Taarabt has accepted that he has to go back to the drawing board at Rangers and re-start his career.
He will now join fellow new signings Paddy Kenny, Shaun Derry and Clint Hill in Warnock's push for promotion to the Premier League.

Yeah that sums it up for me.
Good player but far far from the finished article, however a decent championship player but still suprised a lower premiership side didn't want to take a gamble on him.I played sunday league football today.
Clearly I was the best player on the pitch.
I scored 5 and made 7 last ditch tackles.
We lost 5-0 but the rest of my team were sh it!
