There's a few poking it at the owners (Mittalls in particular) to "spend or go" -- my questions are:-

    1. Just who do you think would come in and how would they sort out the mess the club is in after 10 years of clowns running the place?

    2. After giving yourself a reality a check and realising we are not a club that can spend money like water, just who are your realistic striker targets?

    Answers on a postcard please.
I need some time in the sunshine, I gotta slow it right down.

Very good post, think it will take a few years for them to get the club working as they want to be honest.

        Agree.

Does anybody know what our income is compared with our expenditure? How much do the owners already have to fill the gap with?

"Amit (Bhatia), Neil(Warnock) and I are all on the same wavelength and I believe this is going to be a fun time in the transfer market,"

"As I have said before, we have the capacity to spend. I am really excited. We want to achieve our target as soon as possible."

Not sure but it's massive for a club of our size, we need to sell players and will always be a selling club.

Fans wouldn't have a problem if we hadn't been promised so much. Also don't forget the money the Mittals have spent on QPR is just loose change to them.

this from one of our owners....

Ecclestone does not exactly talk with enthusiasm about the Championship outfit. He admits he would struggle to name a player in Neil Warnock's squad, he has only been to two or three matches although might go to more this season, and his footballing allegiances lie elsewhere.

“QPR? I don't have a real passion for it at all,” he admits. “I got into it by accident. I'm a Chelsea fan. I got involved through Flavio Briatore. It's difficult not to buy into his enthusiasm for things. I took some shares, I don't care. It's just something I've done.”

On the broader subject of the state of football, Ecclestone is quite scathing, especially when it comes to the multi-millionaires who have become club owners.

“People are either passionate enough to get into it or else they want to massage their ego,” he adds, although then insists he does not fall into either camp. “Football commercially is a disaster and is going to be in trouble until they start sorting out the costs. Look at most of the clubs in the Championship. They're all in trouble financially.”

His lack of footballing ambition is quite clear at QPR. When asked if he dreams of promotion to the Premier League for the club, quick as a flash, he replies: “I hope not. That's just even more aggravation.”

think this guy wants us in the prem as soon as possible?

I know the club is quite small and doesn't generate a big income.

However, considering all the promises of spending and going for promotion etc, what do they expect fans to say?

For me they are just drip feeding the club money to cover the bills. Whereas if they spend the team could win promotion. If they also invest in the infrastructure, in a few years time, QPR could be playing in front of 30,000 gates and producing its own young players capable of competing at Premiership level.

How do you stop famine in Ethopia? By providing the people with enough food to fend off hunger or by investing in a farming process so that they can grow their own food and perhaps even export some?

                        Mmmmmmm.

I notice the "spend some money or cattle truck off" mob have failed to answer my questions.

I don't imagine for a minute the current owners are as passionate as the 200 of us who went to Everton away on a Tuesday night for a SIMOD cup match and it doesn't surprise me at all that they are not throwing red notes about like confetti --- I just don't see the alternative but am willing to be convinced different????

So £900k a public statement by NW but I reckon that's another bit of media mastery --- why tell everyone you're lumping out money, prices go up!

By the lack of response from the "spend or do one" in your auto-sig crew i gather there is no answers to be had.

                              Bring on Saturday.
