Well why would he want a 4 year deal, he's ambitious and if we don't get promotion and he has a good season he can move on easier with 1 year remaining.

It's like a 1 year loan with an option to sign, he will cost about £1.5 million and we have to pay his wages. If we go up, he will sign an extension.
