Marlon King is average at best, one good season at Watford, hit and miss at Gillingham, dog turd at forest, Wigan and Hull.
15 years in the wilderness will be a distant memory come Sunday 8th May 2011.

Do we know what he did outside of the nightclub?

If King is remorseful and wants to prove to people that he has changed he should sign for Coventry. He said that Boothroyd is a friend and that Aidy would look after him. If he signs for any other club it would suggest to me that he's chased the money rather than trying to get his career and reputation back on the straight and narrow.

Spot on, too many are quick to judge someone IMO. A lot of hypocrisy goes on too.

That's a difficult one to call as we haven't really get any evidence to say what has historically happened in that event. When Tony Adams was done for drink driving the only person he caused problems to was himself. King though is different in the fact that he has been found guilty time and time again for incidences involving other people, which makes the crime more real to you and I. With Adams it was easy to say what an idiot and maybe his case taught people the wrongs of drinking and driving. However if he had killed someone that night who knows what Arsenal, England and the media would have done.

Would the Premiership or Manchester United sack Rooney if he did what King did? It's easy to say no but as he should be more of an example to children than King is they might be forced to. It's one of those questions that would be interesting debate if the situation arose whilst it is hypothetical nobody can say whether they are right or wrong. IMO I believe United and the Premiership would have to sack Rooney but in someone else opinion they might say they wouldn't but neither could prove it for sure.

Sign him up! This is just the type of player QPR need i.e. over the hill journeyman who will get £10-£20K a week for doing f**k all whilst Paladini rubs his hands at another deal done (if you get the idea). Good help the mugs who renewed their season tickets if this is the crap to be dished up week in week out!

Interesting to see Marlon King is basesoccer based. Means he'll sign for us then.

A stat in the sun today had Leon Clarke on an average of 0.26 goals a game. Martin Patterson at less than that and Chopra at only 0.31.

To be fair to Chops, he's had 60-odd games in the Prem, wheras Clarke has had a fair few below CCC standard.

Yeah, I just found it interesting but on the basis of last night and the chances we missed, Helguson in particular we are in desperate need of a couple of proven championship strikers.

Where would a QPR or any typical football fan draw their 'moral' line?

How severe would the crime(s) need to be before it went beyond even their own fickleness, for the sake of that winning play-off final goal/20 goal-a-season striker, or not?

We're all only too quick to jump on our moral high horses and judge footballers crimes and indiscretions, until they play for OUR team of course. Then its a case of "well he may be a ####### but he's OUR #######'. A tad hypocritical at times perhaps, us football fans? :-)

13 Convictions Kings's had now, but oh yes, EVERYONE deserves a FOURTEENTH chance because he's done his porridge lol!
