Ok, true tbh I forgot about him but Boro can afford Premiership wages as they still have parachute payments. Any normal CCC team is struggling to bring in that sort of quality.

But why are these players signing for Brizzle City? Is it Coppell's influence? Money (Surely not)? And it can't be the attraction of living in or near Bristol!

Jason Scotland is just what we need imo. Will be ****ed off if he signs for them. But are we even in for him or players of his quality?

IMO we were never going to get Sharp or Boyd so I wasn't bothered that either have signed for other clubs but if Scotland were to sign for Bristol City then I'd be disappointed. Sharp had to stay at the one team which has had recent success with and Boyd will be on stupid money but Boro can afford that.

I still really think everyone is waiting for the 25 man squads to be released by the teams in the prem. There will be lots of quality bargins to be had so why waste money on second rate crap now!
