  • Nit picking Warnocks words

Speaking to www.qpr.co.uk, gaffer Neil Warnock said: "I've made it very clear that I'm looking to add to the squad between now and the end of the transfer window.

"Whilst Damion has really impressed me in my time here, when the offer came in and I considered the other options we have in that area, I had to make this decision which will hopefully allow me to add to the squad in other departments.
those two statements just dont sit well with me. something has changed since may.. doesnt look like warnock really has much control over it.

got a big feeling now, that we will sign probably 1 more player and loan two more. i reckon also we was banking on ambrose coming, which has left us open. and in all honest i reckon QPR are struggling to attract players of sufficient quality to the club.

Someone will say he did not mean it like that and hopefully puts the bed those people who say we dont need to sell before we strengthen the team.

Are you saying Orr and Kenny are players of sufficient quality?

If Stead has turned down Blackpool then it's understandable why we are struggling. Other than Sharp staying at Donny no striker of any significance has come to a CCC club. I think we aren't the only club who are finding it tough to sign players.

boro have done their shopping it seems, some clubs literatly cannot afford much this year. agreed its difficult but thats not my arguement.. i believe that our club isnt as attractive as it used to be.

Why? Footballers will go where the money is especially when they are young enough to not have a wife or kids which makes decisions less about one person and more about other peoples lives. Why did Cole sign for Liverpool when he could have got CL football at Spurs or Arsenal? Money. If we are prepared to pay top dollar then we will get the players we want. If clubs aren't prepared to sell or believe we will pay more because of perceived wealth that has nothing to do with not being attractive to the players.

I would class Boyd of sufficient quality. Just my opinion.

quote things like joe cole and spurs and arsenal is irrelevant in this division. lets be honest, we can probably offer some of the best wages in the division. but that still isnt enough.

i mean look at chopra. was either us or cardiff. im sure we offered more in wages than cardiff.

a clubs reputation has alot to do with whether the player will sign. i mean taarabt is dying to go elsewhere but knows we can offer him the best wages.. so why isnt he playing tonight if thats the case?

it goes both ways mate.. some players do JUST look for money.. but there are alot who consider other things.
