More rumours / Stewart...Merged Thread

Not sure why this was moved but will try again:

The Stewart saga has just made me laugh, when I though our transfers couldnt get any worse, Bristol City have him in the stadium holding a shirt and we say deal not done!!

Some very worrying rumours coming out that I have been reading today:

1) Briatore is still pulling all strings
2) Money for Stewart is needed to pay Vine off
3) We cant sign Orr till money for Stewart is in

and finally this over on Loft for words, one poster has put:

Apologies if posted on a previous thread. Just heard from a friend who's, sort of, ITK, that apparently the fat orange one is sticking his fat orange nose in again, creating a power struggle at HQ. Hence the lack of signings. Also, players were 24 hours from not getting paid.*

If any of those are true, this aint good news.

What can I say; there is no smoke without fire...Something or somebody is causing problems at board level at our club, and its a shame as currently we have the best manager we have had for a long while.

I'll say the same here...

I know that Flabbio is in China and he's lost his mobile phone. He's also lost his wallet and cannot make connect calls. Plus the internet is down so he can't even email, therefore he cannot make contact with the club, so this must be BS.

What annoys me most is the obvious plessure some QPR fans take in spreading such rumours...

Everyone likes a moan but sometimes it just gets annoying and totally fictional.

Why are people making these rumours up then... Annoys me as if they are not true, it takes a twisted mind to continually make these up!!

We are spending a fee on Bradley Orr, yet we are supposed to believe with the richest man in the world at our club, players are 24 hours from not getting paid?

Thats far more embarrasing post made by a poster than any technicality on whether a player has signed or not

Jeffro, if true those rumours are worrying, but logic would suggest the following....

1. Briatore can't pull all the strings, his shareholding is too small? He could only pull some of the strings.
2. Surely in any deal involving a swap of Stewart for Orr money would be going to Bristol, not coming to us?

These types of rumours only comes up because the the club has no communication with the fans.

Until the day comes, and the fhat orange #### leaves our club, these rumours about the pric will always surface when there appears to be a problem at boardroom level.

Some have nothing better to do mate...You know that.

The worst part is, they know many fans want to hear things like this so as they can continue their own hatred towards the club, and ultimately blame the same two men. People accused Pete of having an agenda for ages, yet things like this are perfectly fine to make allegations about.

Sad...Very sad.
