    F-in livid at this.

    Undisclosed too (as always).

I have SERIOUS doubts that Warnock sanctioned this one as, out of all our CBs, Stewart is the type he has always liked.

Stinks of someone getting money back.

    OR,
Ramage and Connolly now recognised as a Centre Backs, giving us Gorkks, Connolly, Ramage and Hall there with Hill as back up; Orr with Legs as back up and Hill with Borrowdale as back up?

As an earlier poster suggested and I find plausible the club need the funds from Stewarts transfer to bring Orr in.

Its never dull supporting the R's that's for sure.

Damo is on the BCFC website holding a club shirt and has carried out his first interview for them and our site is reporting the deal is not yet done.

            You couldn't make it up....

              DAMION STEWART UPDATE
Posted on: Fri 30 Jul 2010
Despite reports to the contrary, the Club would like to confirm that Damion Stewart's proposed move to Bristol City has not yet been completed.

We will, of course, keep you updated on any developments throughout the day on www.qpr.co.uk

Mistake letting him go. Every team needs a sh*t house of a centre half to deal with the 6ft plus championship forwards. We've just sold ours. Hall isnt good enough, Gorkss and Connolly too light weight to work as a pair. Maybe Ramage will play at centre half a lot more? I dunno but he's hardly a man mountain either.

He was our player of the seaon 2 seasons ago. Our loss, City's gain.

I don’t see it as a big deal to be honest. We have cover with Connoly, Gorks, Hall and one Peter Ramage. I think people are forgetting how well he played at CB towards the end of last season. Him and Gorks would be my preferred pairing and we still have two good defenders as cover. He only had a year left on his contract and I would be more worried had we given him a new three year deal.

W12, knowing our lot, they probably need the funds to pay off Rowan Vine...:yush:

Not beyond the realms of possibility really is it, Paladinis mess just won't go away.

I'm sure that is the case, but it's no excuse for them being slow in releasing news. The Crawley results were on the news section of the offy very quickly after the game finishing - so information can get on there quickly when required.

This would suggest that either the Orr deal has not been finalised yet or there is some other motive for with holding the information.

Orr is a solid right back

we have Connolly, Gorkss, Ramage, dare I say Hall and Leigterwood that can play centre back

Connolly - Good if he can stay fit
Gorkks - Good, prone to a mistake though
Ramage - Nice bloke but i dont rate him
Hall - Decent if he learns to concentrate
Leighterwood - Cant pass the ball so he's not a center mid, we (should) have orr so he's our right back, he's definitley not a center back
