the reason its such a hard struggle for warnock to get a striker is for one reason and one reason only, and that is cos there is so many skint rubbish clubs in the premiership. and most ccc standard strikers are being offered contracts by them for the premiership (take harewood and stead by blackpool for instance), and every player in the country would rather go to the premiership if given that offer cos of the prestige, money and sponsorship capabilities etc.
its just so difficult to get a good man these days, and warnock is not a panic type of manager, he will bide his time till he gets someone whos right for him and right for our club.

It does make me laugh the way you speak with the sort of authority which gives the impression that you have a direct line to Warnock himself.

What your doing is making assumptions putting blind faith in a Board which up to now have shown moderate amount of ambition but not sort to step up to the next level.

The bid for McAnuff, a red herring maybe bit like the bid for Hooper last year to demonstrate to us fans 'we are trying to bring players in' when the truth is the funds were never available. Your whole argument is based on tabloid reports and ITK BS; whereas opposing views are actually built on fact which is in 3 years we have not resolved our striker problem and we have not been assertive enough in the transfer market.

they are asking far too much for mcanuff at the moment, think we can all see that, and no true rangers fan wants us to pay an inflated price for someone whos not an out and out striker.
and taarabt is pondering on his future as shown on here today, if he decides he wants to come here, then he will 100% come here if spurs dont get stupid and ask for man city money, warnock wants him and the board wants him. nothing to do with money for adel. (at the moment)

I am With GTP there is no evidence to back up statements about the board not backing warnock with funds.where anywhere does it say that warnock has asked for this palyer and the board has said no..ambrose chose to stay with palace the fee the terms the medical everything was agreed..not the board refusing to pay more..if fact we offered him more money than he is getting at Palace...

Agree and agree also with GTP.

Whilst there is no evidence to support either argument I think we should at least have some faith in Warnock and the Board. If on September 1st or after we've failed to win Warnock says he hasn't been supported then I'll argue that he was misled but until otherwise we are once again attacking the club we love for the sake of it.
