Warnock is the best thing to happen to this club for a long time, Im just hoping that employing him wasnt some time of smokescreen, to the fans as there is no money available.

i think its more likely that we've been unable (due to whatever reasons) to bring in who Warnock wants.
I didn't say that I said why wait to after pre season to bring players in.

The only likely reasons we haven't brought players in is because we have not made serious bids that's the bottom line we do everything on the cheap, same old Rangers.

Warnock is not the sort of manager to have the goalposts moved and keep quiet

I have been reasonably happy with the players brought in so far.But happy to the extent that for a serious push at playoffs or even improvement from last season, that...."the icing on the cake" signings would follow.

Like most, although this is the time of season when a lot of s..t happens, although NW said that he wanted his signings done and dusted by now, being linked with the likes of Marlon King worries me slightly.

FFS the season hasn't started yet. ....but agree wit Jeffro concerning our strike force.

i am getting impatient too, but its reassuring me that we have heard a number of times from Warnock himself that 2 - 3 players will sign. In the past, its just been us hoping and expecting to sign players and it hasnt happened. At least this time we have a top manager, who is no mug - saying himself that 2 - 3 players should be coming in. I may be a mug, but i trust Warnock and think we will still sign a decent couple of players, just as he says. Even if it takes til deadline, im sure at least one striker will come in. With Vine surely on the way out, and Pelican following. and balanta out on loan, its clear to anyone that we dont have enough strikers - and Warnock will put it right. hes had a good career and knows what hes doing - why would things change now? I dont beleive there is loads to spend, but there must be some if we signed Kenny, Mackie, and probably Orr as well. We are clearly looking at Adel - which we all know isnt a free transfer. In fact, hed probably be one of our highest value signings if we pulled it off

sensible and factual post. this is exactly how it is imho. things are good, not bad. we usually guess and say we are bringing in players since the billionaires came here, this year its an outspoken veteran manager saying it, not us dreaming.

Could that be because the people who portray themselves to be in charge are not really in charge ?
