Connolly, jack of all trades, master of none..........well overrated and average at best.

I agree. Connolly has no pace and is weak in the air. 2 key attributes for a good CB. Unfortunately the rest of our CBs are poor in these areas also.

have to agree about connolly at CB. at full back he is ok, but a couple of times last season he played as a holding midfielder just in front of the back 4. he was awesome.

Disagree. You need a centre back with a bit more than just a big hoof.

I'd much rather a centre back occasionally showing a bit of composure on the ball. This is the friggin championship not sunday league although at times I think players like Stewart would suit the sunday league style.

Why do you think varous managers have not played him there, not fast, gets beaten in the air a fair amount, does show composure on the ball.

Gorkks is also slow, stewert is prob faster than both, but as most say lacks concentration.

All our center backs have flaws.
