I know this has been said, but 12 goals in 39 appearances (1 goal in 3.25 games), often playing as a lone striker, and he's young.

I think we all know we're not going to pay the silly money that a prolific striker would cost, so we should go get him and done with it.

He knows the club, has a good attitude and can definitely score goals on a regular basis.



Also, dare I say, keep Vine, but give him a rocket up his ar_se. Last season we were all desperate for Vine to get back from injury. Why? Because he was a great asset to the squad before he got injured. His injury was very serious, remember. I think he should be given a chance after a first pre-season since he was crocked.

We should make more use of stats involving shots, on target and goals. This would give us an idea of how good a striker.

Defoe (last year) - Shots 7654, On Target 28, Goals 21 as an example.
