If you want a quality striker, go buy someone like this... not Stead who scores 3-4 goals a year, or an ex con ...

Watching him play tells me he offers a lot more than statistics will tell you. im not trying to tell you he is one of the best in the league or anywhere near it but he would be a useful addition to the team. if we get someone to play along side him then he would be a decent signing

The best Vine could do is play a similar role to the one that Mackie will but as he clearly doesn't care and hasn't shown any sort of form for a long time he shouldn't be anywhere near the 1st team until he shows both.

Vine is poor, has always been average and belongs in league two on current form. Him and Agyemang should be allowed to leave on a free if an offer is forthcoming. Only thing is pretty sure no-one will be interested in the chuckle brothers.

who is that then. there is no guarantee that anyone will score 20 goals. whether that be stead, beattie or drogba

a striker will only score that many goals if he has good partner to support him. i believe stead would be great in that role

A good striker might also create chances for the midfielders. This is the way football is played today.
