I booked online and got charged £3.50 so I would think it would also apply to phone bookings.

Martin Lewis said if you get one of those prepaid credit cards, you avoid charges like this and could be worth looking into.

pay on the gate. I only booked in advance cause I'm bringing two of my kids and wanted a seat near an aisle.

I was going to stick it on the credit card but I do have a debit card as well so might give them a call and see what they say

A debit card will be charged (dont ask me why), its a pre pad credit card he suggested to get around paying stupid charges and works because its cash, so they cant charge you.

on a £5 ticket, a £3.50 charge is a 70% hike and should be investigated as visa charge around 2%.

If the £3.50 charge was a true cost of the transaction, why do they not charge you the same£3.50 charge when you use your credit/debit card in the shop ?

The Club is pleased to confirm details of our latest Family Fun Day at Loftus Road, as the countdown to the new campaign continues in W12.

We will be holding our summer spectacular this Sunday at Loftus Road - and we want you to be part of it!

This is the perfect opportunity for you to get closer to the action, as Neil Warnock puts the R's First Team squad through their paces ahead of the 2010/11 npower Championship season opener against Barnsley six days later.

Both players and staff will be on hand throughout the day to sign autographs and pose for photos, whilst the appearance of our Club mascot, Spark, is sure to whet the appetite of the Junior Hoops in attendance.

There'll be all the usual fun and games, including facepainters, Wii Pods, caricaturists, balloon artists, player meet-and-greets and much, much more!

Entrance for the event is free for all Season Ticket holders and Members.

Doors will open at approximately 10.45am.

Thanks for your continued support - and come on you R's

I have PM'd you in case you miss this post. Hope it helps

Hardly the same as what was promised in the loyalty points letter.
The day at Harlington was for people with a high loyalty point tally from last season -- nice to have some recognition for following the team here, there and everywhere I thought -- but still no letter with details.

I too, am wondering why they bother having the scheme at all.
