Well to be fair we should leading the chase for Scotland, it would be a travesty to see him go on loan to either of those sides.

This is the problem. He is a proven goalscorer in this league who i think went back to back seasons scoring well over 20 goals.

Apparently teams like Derby and Bristol City can see why he might be a good addition to their team. Meanwhile we sign a player released by a relegated side and are currently being linked with a bloke who cant pass his medical and a player who hasnt scored 20 goals in his entire career.

What are our owners finding so difficult about all this?

Very good post, I am just as bemused!
I played sunday league football today.

Clearly I was the best player on the pitch.

I scored 5 and made 7 last ditch tackles.

We lost 5-0 but the rest of my team were sh it!

Your right, got to be something more then meets the eye ?
I am hoping Kingfisher guy takes Flavios pot of gold shares and we see a little bit more money being thrown on a good striker

Our team really is quite good, lacking a finisher (and maybe one winger, i'm sure you knew that anyway)
                    Under Les Ferdinand:
Luke Freeman, top assists in the league: 4million
Alex Smithies, great goalie for this club: 3,5million
Charlie Austin, 19 Premier League goals: 4million
Jack Robinson: Contract ran out, left for free
                    And many more mistakes

LES FERDINAND, IT'S TIME TO GO

So Bristol City could have a front Pairing of Scotland and Maynard at the start of the season, thats awesome at this level.

Wish we had millionaire owners like them
