  • You won't like this post but

Our season is all dependant on whether Clarke can become a decent striker.

Its a worrying comment but a fact.

If Clarke can have a good season then rangers can have a good season. He is the only striker at the club that has potential, all be it not much but at least some!
I played sunday league football today.

Clearly I was the best player on the pitch.

I scored 5 and made 7 last ditch tackles.

We lost 5-0 but the rest of my team were sh it!

It's also a load of s**t, but that's ok if you believe it. Clarke hasn't really got potential, whereas Mackie has. Not sure where you got your 'fact' from?

Mackie is the one with potential and hopefully Warnock brings in his main striker target in next 7 days.

Mackie is a wide man not a centre forward.

My mate is a plymouth fan and says mackie has great pace but is best played as a winger. Sort it out Benny ffs.

Get a striker (not henderson or hulse) and taarabt and then i will believe. When we get the main people in we can then clear out the sh*t and replace them with decent players (e.g. aliadiere)

Clarke is a gamble that could go either way... although I feel he won't make it.

Get over yourself luv. He's a striker who plays outside the central striker, not on the wing. I know someone who knew him before he went pro, and I also know a Plymouth fan, both who confirmed this. Plus there are a few west country Rs who've seen him plenty and all believe he's effective as both a striker and part of a three pronged attach. This is where Mackie will play, and has done in our friendlies.

                Unlucky boi.

You might be right but out of this current squad he is our only hope as we know the rest of our strikers are a waist of space. No point having a great midfield with once again nothing upfront.

Mackie I really hope does the business and has potential.

At this current time you are well overrating him.

He scored 8 goals last season which was good in a struggling plymouth side but we need a clinical striker and he isn't that.

Also he has incredible work rate but some plymouth fans said he can be good but other times a headless chicken springs to mind.

Mackie will be the new bowles.

actually he has not looked bad by all accounts, we do need to improve our strikeforce further though if we aspire to anything more than mid table mediocrity this season

i think clarke has potential aswell, jus needs good service he will hold the ball up well, most of our goals will b scored from the wide strikers eg mackie, which i feel we need to stregthen more and buz running from midfield. My gut feeling is he will get another battering ram forward not particulary profilic but a workhorse like clarke, remember warnocks style guys
