I am sure you are right that Mr Mittal has given his son-in law a little business to run,however all business needs investment to grow however small,the investment in quality players at Rangers is nil, sign Chopra,Earnshaw,show a interest earlier in Hooper,show some signs of ambition, with all due respest Derry,Hill and Clarke hardly set the pulses racing,hence the terrible figure of under 7,000 season ticket holders with about 11 days to go to kick-off.

This club has terrible support,but high prices,lack of true investment etc have taken its toll.

surprisingly apart from a good striker i think the team is more balanced now, more team spirit and we now have a leader in derry.

I would have thought, if our owners aim is to take football to india to possibly get a share of a growing market.

You need a top brand to do so, and clearly were not nowhere near that.

That will take big bucks and become a big brand name to market in india.

If they plan to want to take football to india cant do it owning the likes of us while we just stagnate and are only known in w/London.

We are no better of football wise now than five years ago.

They get as many hits as Ferrari do and it's only a small team in F1, it's the people that follow you and this could be a really big thing for this football club.

Why is everyone knocking Mittals is beyound me. I think Mittals were tagged along same as BE but decided they can contribute something although that something does not please everyone. What has BE done after all he has plenty of money and the **** turned around and says he supports the sh**e.

Now i reckon Mittals wants to buy out FB who is holding out to get maximum for his investment which the Mittals will never pay, so until FB backs down we will carry on building slowly. Kingfisher investment is a brilliant thing as he has a lot of clout in India.

If people looks to how Mr Mittal made his money they will find out he never went into any buisness like a bull in the China shop.

This is totally Amits thing but if Mr Mittal gets involved in it properly it will be Boom or he will pull out but he will never get involved as long as Amit is married to his daughter.


Last thing these people who keep on about speculate/accumilate how the hell do you think Mr Mittal has made his fortune.

Briatore has zero input in the day to day running of the Club. Maybe a little bit in terms of longer term planning and he certainly keeps his ears to the ground but in terms of running the shop. Nothing.

Remember, Amit is not wealthy. Ishan is not wealthy. They have not been handed a blank cheque by the non blood relative Lakshmi.

It's the Thompson situation all over again. Daddy owns the Club (in this case Father in law) and lets the next generation practice their business skills on it. It's being run as a subsidised business, not a Manchester City cash hole.

I would rather be in our shoes then half the sides in the championship. Cardiff, Hull, Portsmouth and i know palace arnt in the c rap now but it will be a while until they are completely safe.

Were stable and building. What if we were to buy in all these 4m pound players on 20k a week and it didnt work........We hav certainly got the correct manager but to go out and panic buy would be or could be a disaster. If money was pumped in and it didnt work the board would be angry and could walk out, leaving us deep in s*it.

We should be grateful for these guys that out name is not rolling aorund the screen on sky sports saying we have been given a wind up order.

Next season we need to get behind the manager and the team big time. Were 80 percent there with an extra 20percent we will have a very good squad.

personally I think they are trying to make us a sustainable club. So, when they leave we have income to support our expenses. What will happen when arabs leave man city or the russian chelsea? Yes, we'd like us to spend and get the best players in but at least we're not back to a early 2000 situation when they do leave
