Really looking forward to pre-season 2011-12

Got a really good feeling about 2011-12 pre-season rumour has it we might even sign a decent player then.

For the record I have already written this season off as mid-table mediocrity if we are lucky.

We have not signed a single player to get the pulse racing since the takeover. Some will argue Faurlin but to be honest he is only slightly above average.

I had high hopes this season for Hooper, Ambrose and Clyne, but instead we get Clarke, Kenny and Derry. Just about sums it all up for me.

How many Championship clubs were in for these players? Who did Clarke turn down before he chose Rangers. Do you think Middlesboro had to decide between him and Rangers's record scoring Kris Boyd? Does nobody else feel the same way?

To say that Rangers have been disappointing since the takeover would be the understatement of the century. There really has not been anything positive at all for the fans since those mugs took over.

Think derry will be good for us this season. Everyone slated mahon then missed him when we realised he was crucial to allowing rest of the team to play. Derry is much better player than mahon. If we get orr defence looks solid. We do need a striker and dare I say it adel too.....

Just because its old and boring doesn't mean its not true. Its a total disgrace if you think about it. We are the mugs that just swallow it.

I read threads on here with people who have total blind optimism. They say, give Marcus Bent and Priskin a chance, I think they can do a job. The same is being said about Clarke....I say look at there recent goalscoring records (surely a decent place to start when considering a new striker) they are hopeless.

We should not be signing this type of player. Boyd/Chopra/Hooper/Beckford/Becchio/Anichibe/Welbeck I can go on. These should be the targets for any side who want to get promotion. Simple as that.

most on here agree mate ( just look for the moaning threads ) but getting through to the board or getting players to sign is a different matter all together, look at the ambrose saga.

I know. Don't you think its really weird though. Why are these blokes involved at our club? If you were in there financial position why not buy Fulham, Chelsea, Liverpool or Man Utd? Don't forget they are up there with Man City owners.

Its certainly not for the quality of football. Incidentally all talk of Champions league foootball in 5 years for Rangers has gone a little quiet lately don't you think?
