Queens Park Rangers begin the summer as one of the favourites to gain promotion to the Premier League - just as they have been for the last half a dozen years. But with a bit more stability around Loftus Road, and a manager in Neil Warnock who is, shall we say, rather uncompromising, their status looks to be justified this time around. A couple of new players won't harm their chances either...
After being linked with the defender for some time, QPR are poised to land Bradley Orr from Bristol City for £500,000.
Meanwhile, the Hoops may be back in the market for former Newcastle United and Charlton player Darren Ambrose. It seemed a £750,000 deal had been agreed, but the scent had gone cold since Palace were saved from going out of business last month. However, fresh reports today suggest Rangers have reignited their interest.
I must admit I was hoping to see Josh Parker break through at RB, he looks the sort of player who will benefit from having Warnock as a manager. Not afraid to get stuck in either though I think he is more of a winger I think he has great potential to become a wing back.
I want to see Parker play left wing, he looks a real decent player
Under Les Ferdinand:
Luke Freeman, top assists in the league: 4million
Alex Smithies, great goalie for this club: 3,5million
Charlie Austin, 19 Premier League goals: 4million
Jack Robinson: Contract ran out, left for free
And many more mistakes
