Ambrose worth no more than £1m at absolute TOPS

Exactly how much lower in valuation. Laughable. That's equivalent to Rowan Vine's wages for 8 weeks tho. Bloody Paladini.
15 years in the wilderness will be a distant memory come Sunday 8th May 2011.

Whatever we do we shouldn't give out ANY more 4 year deals to new signings. Maybe if they prove themselves like Fauriln and Connolly they can get extended deals on better dough.

Darren Ambrose poised to pen new Palace deal
          Monday, 26 July 2010

          By Richard Cawley
DARREN Ambrose is on the verge of signing a new contract with Crystal Palace.
The 26-year-old attacker has only 12 months left on his existing deal and is a target for QPR.
But Eagles boss George Burley has revealed that Ambrose is set to pen fresh terms imminently.
He said: “We’re not far away and I’m confident that in the next 24 hours we’ll get something sorted out.
“We are keen to get it done and so is Darren."Don't miss tomorrow's South London Press for the latest Palace news.

It's nice to see the part in bold despite claims that he is desperate to leave!!!

Even if he signed for us today, (tomorrow is expected) you would still say that he had his heart set on coming to the Pooperhoops.

I honestly believe it is Ambrose best interest to stay at Palace. They are obviously hell bent on keeping him, thats why they are offering him big money. He will be the big star there, where unfortunatly for Eagle and Jams he be wouldnt here and he'll know good game or poor game he will be in the side week in week out.
I watched Palace vs WBA towards end of last season and i must admit i thought Ambrose looked decent, good on the ball and the one Palace player capable of producing something. But god help Palace if 'GOD' gets injured because the lack of quality is there for all to see.
I dont really see where Ambrose would fit in with us. Im excited at the prospect of Buzz and Faullin being let of the leash now we have Derry there to protect the back 4, so when these 2 are fit i cant see where Ambrose plays.
Signing Orr and a striker and winger have to be our priority now. NOT AMBROSE

Ambrose could play the wide right role

Eagle, you really don't have a clue...

Its all "If's" and "But's" with you...

5-6 payers does sound promising, and "IF" you do sign them it will be fantastic "BUT" who's to say they will be good?

I don't think you had bad team last year and would of finished very well if all the off field problems never happened and you didn't lose NW (who may I say is a quality manager regardless! Just as if not better than Burley)

Mackie is currently having a really good pre season and was a unsung hero at Plymouth last year, so you know nothing...

And yes if we do (which im sure we will) sign more players we will be far better than you and will **** on you next year!

                      ****

Which players are these, may I ask?

You deal in as much "ifs and buts" as I do. In fact, the success of your entire season is BASED on them?

Remember, under Colin, you went... 7 games without a win, was it?

Sorry but for me if you are playing 1 striker and 2 attacking mids you need proper wingers, not midfielders who continue to cut inside and rarely cross the ball.
