People are too quick to criticise, the lad has had an awful time since he broke his leg, with several operations to fix the problem after the bones wouldn't heal and an infection as well. At one time it was thought he would never play again.

              Offer him to Palarse
I blew a lot on vodka and tonic, gambling and fags. Looking back, I think I overdid it on the tonic. - The one and only Stanley Bowles

Good riddance. Over paid and painfully slow!

With all due respect to his injuries, it also helps if you have a good attitude and WANT to work hard to prove to others & most importantly yourself that you are putting in the effort. Vine does not fit into this unfortunately.

Many players with much worse injuries have come back a lot better than before their injuries. He's just not interested.

Not only is this true, but takes no account of the injury to his stomach either which also required surgery. Although there can be no doubt he is no longer the player he was, there have been some good reasons for it.

Unfortunately Facto you are spot on mate.Vine is finished at this level. He has been lucky to have reached the levels he has.He is League 1 or 2 material and IMO always has been, bar the odd game.
