Is being smart with who they intend to bring in, because IF we won promotion, they know they'd have to unload most of the squad coz they wouldn't be good enough and then get hold of a load of new players and this would cost an unbelievable amount of wedge and they wouldn't want to be lumbered with a load of surplus to requirement players which would cause unrest ?

i.e. They've learnt from previous mistakes and we aint giving them enough credit. This would be a credit to them if it is the case
