I thought he was in his last years contract? the only way this could happen is if he signs a new deal at tottenham?

On the basis no one wants him apart from QPR FC, will he sit in the reserves at Spurs and walk a free man in 11 months or play for QPR for a minimal fee to get him of the wage bill and walk a free man in 11 months ?

To be honest I'm slightly surprised as clearly he is a very talented player but it seems as if no one (but us) are interested & he does not want to come here by the look of things. Would it be more his or his agents style to WANT to run his contract down in order for him to negotiate much bigger wages in just 11 months time??

I think this will drag until the last few days of transfer window as he is clearly waiting to see what develops................

As he did last season, it was Malaga then.
                    They seek him here.................

Didn't someone say he wasn't on Tottenham's US tour, when he played the second half against the New York Red Bulls. There are plenty of teams who would go for him, in France, Spain maybe even the US. He wouldn't lower himself to come back to Rangers, though, the strop he pulled against Watford last year, plus all the gestures to the fans, proved that.

Yes I believe his agent will wait and wait hoping some higher grade team will buy in despaeration after a dodgy start in August. WBA, Newcastle or Blackpool spring to mind. AT I think would go because of Prem football and being in the spot light more (TV)

Come to W12 and prove you can do it for us

Went as a last minute replacement for Pavlyuchenko who naffed his calf in San Jose. Don't read anything into his trip to NYC. Purely to make up numbers
