What rumour have I defended my arguments with?

Of course my replies say largely the same thing, you keep asking the same questions.

For the seventieth time, we are no longer poor. We don't need to sell.

The players we are looking to sell ARE too good for QPR. They really are. We don't need to sell them. Hence why bids are being turned town. It will take a large amount of money for the club to sell them. I don't see how you can argue with that?

I have JUST said, I'm not attempting to dictate what you are posting. If you had bothered to read and understand my reply, you'd have known that.

I've been reading your posts here for some time. I haven't replied as I don't tend to post here very often (it's not my type of community - a bit too 'school playground' for my liking) but your constant arrogance has lured me in.

First of all, if you are genuine in your claim to be a 'come-in-peace' away fan, your tact leaves a lot to be desired. I'm aware that a lot of the posters here struggle to raise an intelligent argument but your snobbery in using potential spin as fact is exceptionally patronising and I can only hope that it will come back to bite you in your proverbial over the next six weeks or so.

Re. Ambrose. Has he signed a new contract at Palace? I seem to remember Burley mentioning a couple of weeks ago that he'd got some good news 'from Darren' and that negotiations were ongoing. It appears to have gone mightily quiet since then. What with Mick Jones' comments this week in this article by the usually dependable Ben Kosky, it would appear the transfer is very much still alive. Of course, these comments are by no means any more factual than the black and white comments from your chairmen that you seem unable to supply saying he won't be leaving. My conclusions from the back and forths this summer is that it's very much down to Ambrose. The facts are that whether you need to sell or not is entirely irrelevant. Any club whose shots, like Palace, are called by businessmen (your words - not mine) would surely be open to listen to offers for any player with 12 months left to run on their contract who may (or even may not) want to leave? Look at poor Cardiff with Ledley as a good example of why rolling the dice in these situations is a crap shoot at best.

From the little evidence us fans are drip fed with, if I were forced to put money down, mine would be on Ambrose being a QPR player and Clyne a Birmingham player within a fortnight. And I highly doubt you'll get any more than £3 million up front between them.

One more minor point on your claim that Ambrose is too good for QPR. Seems a bit odd that he would agree to jump your (then sinking) ship for ours within hours of your club's ruin, if that were the case. I think Ambrose and QPR is a very decent match and would (I nearly said will) be ecstatic if it came off.

Until your humble pie is served, may I suggest that you tone down your persistent bravado in favour of a less naive, reasoned approach? You'd be far less annoying that way old boy.
