Worrying but not surprising I've been saying this for months now, what club is going to be daft enough to take these players on on their silly wages, if we do get shot we will still be partly subsidising part of their wage IMO.

There presence at the club no doubt in my mind has affected our transfer budget this summer....thanks Gianni.

A couple of points if I may, the evidence is that we have some money to spend but we are not going to do a man city type of thing.

Secondly its always difficult to pump money into a venture if you don't own it wholesale, it becomes very complicated, and unless the Mittals do get Bernie and Briatore's stakes we are not going to see masses of cash poured in, but just enough to keep us competitive.

Yes they are Warnock Signings clearly, but its like the base level players. Get your own Neil but makes sure they are freebies.

w12ranger where the hell have you been this week?

Are you also underwhelmed by the lack of decent transfers?
I played sunday league football today.

Clearly I was the best player on the pitch.

I scored 5 and made 7 last ditch tackles.

We lost 5-0 but the rest of my team were sh it!

Agreed and would love to be proven wrong.

Warnock has repeatedly said that he wants to work with a small squad and to do this he has to ship out players otherwise if he adds to the squad without being able to get rid of players it becomes a large squad which he doesn't want. I bet that if was able to get rid of half a dozen we would have seen even more signings in through the door.

We should be trying to talk to these player and just pay them off.

No one wants them as they are poor players on big money. Lets get rid and move on. Yes it will cost us but at least we don't have to worrying about outgoings every wk.

Surely if agymang has 2 years on say 15 k a week thats 1.56 million. Offer him 1mill and tell him to walk. Same with Vine, otherwise they will be burdening us for 2 years each, may cost 2 mill up front but get rid.
I still believe there will be some muggy team who will pay money for Fitz, so dont offer him.

More worrying is that Hall WILL start the season as centre back.

if we sign(not loan) mcanuff, henderson and ambrose.. or any trio along the lines of that calibre, ill be happy to say that things have changed since briatore's reign.

however until that happens i cannot 100% say in my heart that he isnt pulling some strings.

I have been sunning it at the family villa in 110 degrees on the med.

Underwhemled yes, surprised no. I am actually thinking of getting a refund back on my ST like you did. Reasons being I'll be in attendance at only 50% of matches next season and TBH I'm sick to death of worrying about the club and where it is all going wrong, I still should be able to sit in my seat as I can't see the club shifting many more seats in fact I think the opposite might happen.

Has Warnock underestimated the amount of dross at the club on big wages, did he realise the extent of mis management of club finances??? these are the sort of questions I think need to asked.

At the Platinum Evening I was impressed a lot with the guy as you know but surprisngly he said he thought Helguson had been bought by Watford and after a month at the club hadn't really had a chance to look at Buzsaky who wasn't injured at the time. Undoubtably this sort of response will raise questions now such as is Warnock just here for one last payday??

For me Warnock has been brought in because he can work within a tight budget and restructure a club internally. This is a positive thing but I just wish the club would come clean about way we do business as fans will start turning their backs on the club if they haven't already.

Briatore has zero input in the day to day running of the Club. Maybe a little bit in terms of longer term planning and he certainly keeps his ears to the ground but in terms of running the shop. Nothing.

Remember, Amit is not wealthy. Ishan is not wealthy. They have not been handed a blank cheque by the non blood relative Lakshmi.

It's the Thompson situation all over again. Daddy owns the Club (in this case Father in law) and lets the next generation practice their business skills on it. It's being run as a subsidised business, not a Manchester City cash hole.

i reckon that would be a great description.

but in that case why briatore/ecclestone involved?

Ecclestone only involved due to Briatore and his investment really is the dust from his pockets.

That is exactly how I see it. If the rumour about Kingfisher is true, then hopefully the Orange One and the Dwarf will do the Frank Bough.
