    1. Who is to say that the agent's fee "stumbling block" is true?
    2. We're not as wealthy as you, obviously. But we don't need to sell anyone.
Hence why Birmingham have been told to phark off with their pathetic bids, again.

      1. I'm not saying its definately true hence the use of the word if

      2. You could be holding out for a better offer? Time will tell whether you need the money or not

Does this sound like a company on sound financial footings ?

"The Championship Eagles are braced for the exit of right-back Nathaniel Clyne, 19, to Premier League Birmingham. But if they can generate £2million from Clyne's sale they plan to retain midfielder Ambrose, 26, who bagged 20 goals last term"

            1. Fair enough.

            2. We're obviously holding out for one. We're just not going to sell unless the offer is too big to turn down.

You're judging our financial position on the word choice of a journalist?

This is a journalist trying to make a name for himself. Nothing from the club suggests that.

In fact, George Burley has said he wants to keep Ambrose and Clyne. All signs from the club also show this.

That article is pretty much rubbish.

                This does :
Eagles co-owner Steve Parish insisted: "We are now on a stronger financial footing. There's no pressure to sell."

Of course you are on a stronger financial footing because you are still trading, the only other option was extinction.

AMBROSE AGAIN - Rejects Palace's new contract offer...

Shoot the messenger all you want. Only relaying what I've been told from my sause through the club. Palace are possibly going to improve the offer but I've also been told he's not interested and wants out. Guess the next few days will be interesting. Nothings likely to happen until mid next week and Palace are trying to keep this quiet. NOT ANYMORE I SAY!!!

Be interesting to hear what these Palace boys who spend more time on here than on their own site will have to say about this!

Of course Parish is going to say that! He's not going to say"we're still up the creek without a paddle and looking to cut the wages", now...is he!. He'll say," the offer we had for so an so was to good to refuse!".
I came here to chew gum and kick ass,and I'm all outta gum!

So the mirror article is rubbish journalism but the sun article is a good one,due to one comment from the co-owner?

So if no pressure to sell, we can expect to see Clyne and Ambrose in the palace team this season??? Every player has his price, he may be saying that in public but in private thinking, well ok...we will take double for Clyne.

Palace are coming back with an offer of 25% stake in the club, renaming of the main stand and free use of the CP Jet.
