Despite what some people think there is still a little bit of loyalty left in the game with certain players. As said before im fully confident that Ambrose will still be with Palace by the end of this transfer window.

I just think the way Warnock and Jones are going about this in paticular is totally wrong.
    are you plain stupid?

Ambrose offered new Palace deal to keep him from QPR's clutches

Published 11:20 22/07/10 By James Nursey

Crystal Palace have offered Darren Ambrose a new £10,000-a-week deal to stay.

The Championship Eagles are braced for the exit of right-back Nathaniel Clyne, 19, to Premier League Birmingham.

But if they can generate £2million from Clyne's sale they plan to retain midfielder Ambrose, 26, who bagged 20 goals last term.

Former Palace boss Neil Warnock has offered Ambrose £13,000-a-week to join his new club QPR.

But Ambrose is willing to stay at Selhurst Park after changing agent to the same stable as his close pal Darren Bent.

Ambrose wants the club to pay his agent's fees though but Palace's new owners CPFC 2010 insist the player pays his representative's cut for his new contract.

This Ambrose deal is now getting like the Ben Watson Deal, I was jumping for joy when we finally signed him, he was awesome up at St James Park, then he became average at best and entered a new legend in Ally Faurlin to take on the responsibility as the main man. it will be interesting to see if Ambrosse and Akos can play in the same team but if one needed to be sacraficed to me it would be Ambrose every time, i dont think he is in akos class, personally I think Buz is in for a top season

Agree. I am worried about to many palace players coming in. iD RATHER HE PLAY BUZZ OVER AMBROSE BUT i DON'T THINK HE WOULD
I played sunday league football today.

Clearly I was the best player on the pitch.

I scored 5 and made 7 last ditch tackles.

We lost 5-0 but the rest of my team were sh it!

Why would he not play a midfield four of

              Faurlin - Buzz - Ambrose

because ambrose and Buzz would be wanting to play in that hole behind the striker. They would be treading on each others toes. I think Buzz would be dropped if we signed ambrose so fingers crossed we don't get him. He will also want to play Mackie Paul

Sorry my mistake if it wasn't made clear, that should have read i don't think there's any doubt we can match the wages you can offer, in terms of that we couldnt match what you can offer.

Anyway, as said earlier it's looking like Ambrose will be signing a new contract sooner rather than later and hopefully will finally put this whole debate to bed!

to be honest if he does resign for you it shows a lack of ambition as a player so dont think he would the player we want same as any player that drops down a division from the prem whilst still in their prime you have to seriously question this as a player you should want to play at the highest level as possible and as a palace hopefully a level headed one it doest show much ambition by staying with a team that is skint and going to be in the wilderness for a few years, you have a good youth policy this is your best way to rebuild like you have before but i cant see you being a force for a while im sure you agree?

"Excuse me mr ambrose, do you want to leave palace or will you be staying" Darren "dunno if i can be ****ed with this mate, think im just gonna have it on my toes"...

If he comes to us, i just want you to know that when you asked him if he was leaving no matter what he said, the above is what he was thinking...
Cant believe it, ive been PWOPER MUGGED ORF...

CPFC have said Darren Ambrose will not be sold, Darren Ambrose is in negotiations to sign a new contract, yest, Warnock, Jones or whoever will not tlet the matter drop!!!

Your meant to have ### amount of millions however since May you have been trying to get Ambrose and it still hasn;t happened and Warnock can;t seem to accept that it's unlikely to happen, and has been saying for the past 3-4 weeks that he will move onto other targets but then every week he talks about Ambrose again.

Either Warnock has clearly run out of ideas about players he wants and keeps going back for the same players he knows or he is playing a really good tap up and mess with a players head type game.

To continously state about Ambrose not wanting to be at Palace is totally scandolous when it's totally untrue. I have spoken to Darren myself and he has always wanted to stay with Palace and a new contract should be signed shortly.

I just wish Warnock, Jones, or whoever would just let the matter die instead of keep bring the matter up.

If you have other targets Warnock, then move onto them!!!
