  • Hogan Ephraim

has N/W done wonders with Hogan or what sixgoals already if he carries on like this we wont need a 20 goal a season striker.
I realise there are a lot of fans who think Hogan is no goodbut has this changed your mind (i knocked him many times last season)I hope this is a sighn of things to come...
Dyslexic so please don't feel the need to correct my spelling mistakes as I really don't give a **** and before you say use spell checker if it is spelt right / wright but not in context spell check is useless

Scoring goals in pre season is fine but doing it in the championship wk in wk out is a massive difference. I remember last season thinking Balanta was a world beater. I really don't rate Hogan and unless Warnock is a miracle worker I suggest we actually spend some money on quality.
I played sunday league football today.

Clearly I was the best player on the pitch.

I scored 5 and made 7 last ditch tackles.

We lost 5-0 but the rest of my team were sh it!

I am a firm believer that the man in form plays and he is definitely in form. If NW can get the same level of improvement out of every player, they will be quite a few on here chocking.

Alos, for those that have been to the games, do the players look like they have gelled together well and are playing as a team or do they look disjointed ?

Hi Nuffield.I've always liked him from his early days on loan from W.Ham.Never gives less than 100% and if he has a new found confidence and scoring touch, who knows.Best of luck to him I say.

Jeez he has scored against a team who play at a level that I have played at FFS.
Hogan Ephraim is not good enough , never has been good enough and never will. Last season Balanta looked brilliant against Aldershot etc..
Pre season means nothing especially against the kind of opposition Warnock chose.

If we has played the likes of Brentford, Bristol City, Newcastle and Everton and Ephraim had been scoring and playing well, then I would have agreed, but truth is; Hogan is a poor ineffective player.

Come on fella I know your not crazy! Surely you have realised that most of those goals were pretty much against pub sides! Hogan against decent sides has been average at best. Unless there is some drastic improvement in him against Championship sides I can see him being nothing more than a regular on the bench.

Probably, I didnt see the line up etc.

Makes me laff how Some rangers fans cling to every perceivable positive, Hogan scores 6 goals against c rap and the inquest starts to how he is possibly a 20 goal striker... Incredible

Just think that no matter how Hogan has been treated by other managers - in and out the side, going out on loan, never getting a decent run - the guy would have every right to sulk and say "Sod this, I'm leaving" like some Prima donnas would.

The fact he has never complained and just got his head down and got on with it is a credit to such a young guy and he deserves praise and respect for that.

Not saying that 6 goals against lesser opposition makes him a a Galactico who's gonna tear up this league but for his effort and determination, I'd rather him with us in our squad then some others, supposedly more mature professionals, who's attitude and application absolutely suck. Even when they are being picked.

Fair play to him for that and I hope his hard work pays off because he certainly deserves it. The fact that he is actually giving his all in such "meaningless games against pub sides" shows the character he is and for that reason I'd keep him.

Let's just get off his case and stop knocking him before the seasons even started.

                            Stop moaning and start supporting!
