  • QPR as a cash cow

Seems to be some on here who think our owners are involved with the club because they see it as some sort of cash cow either when it gets to the Premiership or through say sale of the ground.

Sorry but this is nonsense. The owners are extremely wealthy men. I act for some wealthy individuals and there are far easier and more certain ways for cash rich people to make serious money. Usual thing those that have money can easily make money. The rest of us struggle on getting nowhere fast.

In my view the club is a hobby for them. If they did cash in what they would make would be loose change to them and would cause all kinds of ongoing problems not least potentially harmful adverse publicity which they would not want to be associated with.

As it stands they are buoying the club by investing some money but are not pumping large amounts in probably because we are a small club. If we were say like Forest and had gates regularly over 20,000 they would probably pour more in.

Would like to see us making a few large signings but we maybe have to accept we are a little side project to them and what they do throw our way is keeping us at an artificially high level anyway.

    I think that is correct
